Lou & Fish: Saint Louis Lenten Fish Fries (WIP)
Lou and Fish is a portrait of a long-standing Saint Louis tradition, weaving several different community fish fries together as a poetic quilt of diversity and fellowship. While all of the fish fries presented in the film are hosted by Catholic churches as fundraisers for school scholarships, the film is not a pulpit. Instead it is a reminder that shared religious practices can bring people together, and that some practices, while having ties or foundations that are religious, are more broadly celebrated within the community.
